Known as the ‘French Chateau in Wales‘, Plas Cilybebyll holiday mansion enjoys an idyllic countryside location and is also within easy access of the M4. With 600 years of recorded history and links to Arthurian legend, this fairytale property features nine individually themed bedrooms. It also has an indoor swimming pool, four reception rooms, a wine cellar, tennis court and wood-panelled library with secret door. Plas Cilybebyll accommodates 19 guests. Our collection of award winning holiday cottages hidden away in the extensive private grounds surrounding the historic manor house can accommodate an additional 31 guests.

Plas Cilybebyll is ten miles from the centre of Swansea and within close proximity to the Gower Peninsula and Brecon Beacons National Park so it is a great location from which to discover South Wales. It’s approximately 3.5 hours from London making it convenient if you are looking to rent a mansion with pool in Wales.

Holiday Mansion Features

Enter Plas Cilybebyll Manor and see the wide mahogany staircase leading to the ornate stained glass window and French chandelier. On the ground floor there’s the drawing room with its ornate fireplace. The drawing room is a perfect place to while away the winter evenings in front of a real fire. There’s a further reception room and a wine cellar with exposed cool stone walls. The large kitchen has a traditional 4 oven Aga and island. It couples luxury features like a marble floor and chandeliers with modern touches. Underfloor heating, an American-style fridge freezer and a large dining table make it is perfect for dining and entertaining. There’s an amazing 10 metre indoor heated pool so guest can relax and unwind. The house also has its own oak panelled library with a secret door hidden in the bookshelves.

The first floor offers three luxurious large ensuite bedrooms. Two more bedrooms which share a big family bathroom are also situated on the first foor. On the second floor is one more ensuite bedroom with three further bedrooms sharing a bathroom. Outside is the Plas Venue and bar overlooking the tennis court. The holiday mansion is also surrounded by over two acres of formal gardens and lawns including two ponds and a copper domed folly building.
