No two weddings at Plas Cilybebyll are the same. We host only a small number each year, allowing every celebration to be entirely private, thoughtfully planned and shaped around the people at its heart.
For a little while, Plas becomes yours
Hidden within 120 acres of private countryside, Plas Cilybebyll lies between the mountains of Bannau Brycheiniog and the beaches of the Gower Peninsula. Secluded without being remote, the estate is less than 10 miles from Swansea and within easy reach of the M4 and Cardiff.
This is not a hotel hosting several celebrations at once. The accommodation and event spaces included in your proposal are reserved privately for you and your guests, giving you the freedom to settle in, spend meaningful time together and make the estate feel like your own.
One estate, many beautiful possibilities
Your celebration might begin with a ceremony in the Walled Garden, drinks beside the Victorian-style Folly or photographs beneath the trees surrounding the Manor. You might dine in one of the estate’s characterful indoor spaces or create an elegant marquee celebration overlooking the Welsh countryside.
Each part of the estate has its own atmosphere. Together, they allow a wedding to unfold naturally from one moment to the next—without your guests feeling confined to a conventional function room.
More than a wedding day
Plas Cilybebyll Manor and eight individual holiday cottages allow many of your closest family and friends to stay together on the estate. Rather than arriving shortly before the ceremony and leaving after the final dance, you can turn your wedding into a few unhurried days in the Welsh countryside.
Welcome drinks, a relaxed evening before the wedding, breakfast together the following morning or a day-after barbecue can all become part of your time at Plas. Nothing is prescribed: we help you decide what feels right for you.
A wedding composed around you
We do not ask couples to choose between Bronze, Silver or Gold packages. Every wedding begins with a conversation.
We will listen to how you imagine the occasion, the number of people you would like around you and how you wish to use the estate. We then prepare a clear, individual proposal covering the accommodation, chosen settings, estate support and any additional services you would like us to arrange.
You may bring together caterers, florists and other trusted suppliers of your own, or ask us to help assemble the practical elements of the celebration. Either way, you retain the freedom to create something personal while benefiting from the knowledge and support of the people who know the estate best.

Because we host only a limited number of weddings, we begin by getting to know each couple and the celebration they hope to create.
Weddings at Plas are designed as private stays rather than a single day. The Manor often becomes the couple’s own base, while family and friends stay in the estate cottages and enjoy the occasion together. A limited number of one-day celebrations may be considered on selected off-peak dates.
